On the eve of the favorite holiday of Nowruz, the Museum Center «Icheri sheher» presented a video, dedicated to ancient traditions and rites, many of which, fortunately, have survived til this day. The location for the shooting of the video was not chosen by chance. The famous historical and ethnographic open-air museum "Gala" - here, as fit as a fiddle, you can see and feel how our ancestors lived and run a farm in the period from the 16th to the 19th centuries. This project urges to support and revive the national spirit, as well as create a festive mood for the coming of spring. In each scene of the video you can see on the heroines the most beautiful, flowing silk kelagai from the national brand “Azerbaijan Kelagayi”. Kelagayi is a national women's head scarf, which for many centuries has been an invariable attribute of the clothes of every Azerbaijani woman. The jewelry of the «Butali Azerbaijan Jewelery» brand worn by the heroines is exactly the same as the ones that were worn by Azerbaijanis many centuries ago. And the costumes were provided by the famous Azerbaijani fashion designer - Gulnara Khalilova, the head of the «Azerbaijan National Clothes Center».
